Hi. My name is Jay Waddell, and I'm the owner of KCW Construction. As a third-generation contractor, I grew up with a tool-belt holding my pants up before I could even walk. I'm proud of the homes that I build for my clients, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to build one for you.

I've been building homes in the Kittitas Valley since 1992, and before that, I built homes on the east side of Seattle (Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland) for 11 years. There are three things that make KCW Construction different from other builders:

1. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
One of the parts of my job that I like the best is talking with my clients, finding out what their needs are, and making sure those needs are met.

2. CRAFTSMANSHIP AND QUALITY
I pride myself on the materials I use, and the way I use them. I've rescued old beams from foundations and restored them into mantle pieces; used reclaimed American chestnut wood to build a fireplace surround; and spent hours making sure the wood trim around a window fits and looks exactly right.

3. ATTENTION TO DETAIL
I use one crew for all my jobs, and that crew has been with me for 10 years. Our close relationship ensures that the details I think about get translated into the houses we build.

I also pride myself on finishing my projects on time and on budget.
